Yes — book a free demo. We walk you through the software on a call using the kind of items, parties and rates you actually deal in, and answer anything about your billing workflow. There is no self-serve download: Plyox is licensed per PC and activated during setup, so we install it with you rather than leaving you with an unactivated copy.

Only to activate the licence during setup, and briefly from time to time afterwards. Day to day, billing, ledgers, stock and reports run entirely offline — the software works for 14 days at a stretch without any connection, plus a further 7-day grace period. Even beyond that it opens in read-only mode so you can always view, export and back up your books.
Only on your PC — in a file inside the application data folder, written atomically with a rotating backup on every change. Nothing is sent to the cloud unless you enable Drive backup, and even then the file is encrypted with AES-256 before upload. Google only ever sees ciphertext.
